What Meal Prep Actually Looked Like When I Moved Off-Campus

It was easier to decide what to eat when I lived in the campus hostel.

The cafeteria was nearby, along with a small convenience store run by seniors, plus printing services and stationery. Life was simple — everything was within reach. We even had a laundry room and a dryer.

Everything changed in my third year, when we had to move off-campus.

Third and fourth-year students were expected to live independently since the hostels prioritised first and second-year students.

3 Study Habits That Actually Worked for Me in University

Why Most Study Habits Fail

There’s a ton of study advice out there.

Study earlier, study longer, stay consistent — you name it. I’ve heard it all, and I’ve tried most of it.

Some of it worked, but honestly, most didn’t.

After a while, I realised something simple: the best study habits aren’t the complicated ones — they’re the ones you can actually stick to.

Some people study before class. Others review immediately after. Personally, I’m a huge procrastinator. I start the day motivated, but that energy fades.

So instead of forcing a perfect routine, I built something that fits how I actually work.

How I Actually Take Notes During Lectures (As a Final-Year Student)

You’d think after four years of university, I’d have the perfect note-taking system figured out.

I don’t.

But I do have something that works.

Over time, I realised that taking notes isn’t about writing everything down — it’s about knowing what actually matters. Especially during lectures where everything moves fast, and half the time you’re still trying to stay awake.

What My Final Semester Actually Looks Like

Final semester sounds easy — fewer classes, more freedom. But the reality has been a lot messier than expected. It’s finally my final semester. Four years of sweat, tears and metaphorical blood — although last semester’s essays probably caused a little real hand-cramp blood too.

You’d think it would be easy : only three classes a week, more free time to hang out, sleep in or binge Netflix.

Nope. It’s been hectic from the start.

The 2020 Draft I Finally Published: Welcome to Prep in Progress

I'm still getting familiar with the features and functions of running a blog. Let me share a funny story: back in 2020, when COVID forced us into lockdown, I had one of those inspiring moments in the middle of the night. I thought that since I read a lot, I should start a blog to review books and offer recommendations for others like me.

However, I somehow forgot about it. A few weeks ago, while clearing out my emails, I saw a message from Blogger.
